Please Note!
You are responsible for all of the items you check out through I-Share. Some libraries send reminders, but you can always find the due dates by checking your account online.
If you do not renew a book or return it on time, you may be fined by the library where you checked it out. You can't pay I-Share fines through the Downtown Campus Library: you will get a bill from that library directly.
Logging in to My Account
You can find the "Renew Books/My Account" button at the top of any I-Share Catalog page - but you will need to be in the I-Share Catalog:

NOTE: the IIT Catalog also has a "My Account" button, but it will only show items checked out from IIT Libraries, not any I-Share libraries:

You'll need to login with information from your official Chicago-Kent, Stuart, or IIT ID card:

If you don't have a card, you'll need to speak to the registrar's office to get one.
Here's where the login information goes:

Checking Delivery Status
When you request an item online, you can check the status on your account page - this section is always at the bottom under any items you already have checked out:

You will recieve an e-mail when the items arrive, notifying you that it is ready to pick up at the Circulation Desk. Usually the e-mail gets sent at the end of the day.
Renewing Books
Most libraries allow at least one renewal, but the specific length of time and other details are all determined by the library. You can find contact information and website links on this page.

To renew items, just check off the boxes and scroll
to the bottom to find the "Renew Selected Items" button:

After requesting a renewal,
check to make sure the status
changes to "Renewed".
If you get a "Not renewed" result,
you'll need to return it
before it becomes overdue
and you start to be charged fines.
