Search by number: ISBN or ISSN

Most books and journals include an identification number known as the ISBN (for books) or ISSN (for magazines and journals).  If you have an ISBN or ISSN, you can quickly search our catalog under the Advanced Search tab.  Try searching for Wiknomics (ISBN: 1591841380) or Newsweek (ISSN: 0028-9604) in the sample box below.

  1. Enter the number.
  2. Choose ISBN or ISSN.
  3. Click "Search":

NOTE: If you don't see any results, we may still have what you need, but a different edition or version, or the number may be formatted differently in our records.  If the ISBN doesn't work, try searching by title or author.
