Abstract: “This article discusses the growing number of foreclosed homes in Akron, Ohio. A particular instance is discussed in which Donald Fatheree, a sheriff's deputy, and Jason Beam, an assisting eviction officer, attempted to evict Addie Polk from her home, who had committed suicide to avoid the eviction. This news caught the attention of Dennis Kucinich, a Democratic congressman from Cleveland, Ohio, who has debated the bailout policy of the financial system by the administration of U.S. President George W.
